ThumbnailMany of you guys including myself will be doing your fantasy football drafts sometime this weekend. As promised I am finalizing my 2011 NFL fantasy football blog series with this tips and sleepers blog. Not too many tips listed, but lots of sleepers listed. Tips: • You may want to seriously think about taking Aaron Rodgers 1st, even before Chris [...]

  • ThumbnailThis is a blog that I have been looking forward to writing ever since I completed the NFC North blog a few weeks back. But I am dragging today, and not feeling so gun ho about slapping the keys on the keyboard to type this one out. I will make this happen though, I need too. [...]

  • ThumbnailHere is the second to last part of my fantasy football blog series. (Wide receivers) As mentioned yesterday, I will post a wrap up fantasy football blog that will go over sleepers and draft tips. The top 10 must have wide receivers in fantasy football: 1. Andre Johnson – The best wide out in the game is also the [...]

  • ThumbnailI have been slacking on my blogs lately. I am going to try, key word in this sentence is “TRY,” to finish up my fantasy football blog series today with this post covering the tight ends, and with one later today on wide outs. I will post a final fantasy football blog on Friday which will [...]

  • ThumbnailAnother day, another dollar, and another Brett Favre blog that is or will be posted on the internet once I finish. I am not going to touch on a subject that erupted on twitter yesterday morning between me and several people on the top 5 greatest quarterbacks of all-time and the fact that a couple of people put [...]

  • David Johnson wrote a new blog post: America’s love jones over Tim Tebow. How did it happen?   2 weeks, 2 days ago · View

ThumbnailTebow mania has swept the country and it doesn’t look like it will be going away anytime soon. Even if you’re not a Tim Tebow fan, you know exactly what’s going on with him and his pro career every minute, hour and day of the week. Everything that Tebow does and says is carefully watched and analyzed. [...]

ThumbnailHere is what some of you guys have been waiting for, the next installment of my 2011 NFL fantasy football blog series . Today I am ranking all 32 defenses in order of how I would draft come fantasy football draft time. I will admit that I may post another version of this blog in a couple of [...]

  • ThumbnailThis Darrelle Revis holdout situation has been getting tons and tons of press all summer long, and I have avoided this subject since the very beginning. With all of the new allegations and comments made by both Woody Johnson and the Revis camp, I have to put in my two cents concerning this New York, over hyped saga. First I [...]

  • David Johnson commented on the blog post What’s Really Better: 3-4 or 4-3 Defense?   3 weeks, 1 day ago · View

I wrote a blog on 3-4 defenses and the three different variations of it. The 3-4 is a much better overall defense depending on what type you are running. It allows you to dictate to the offense more than a 4-3 allows you to.

  • David Johnson wrote a new blog post: The top 30 must see games of the 2010/2011 NFL season   3 weeks, 2 days ago · View

ThumbnailWith the NFL season just 30 days away, I figured that I would talk about the top 30 games that every true football fan must watch this season. Some of the games listed are obvious games that everyone will be watching, but there are some that aren’t. If you don’t have DirecTV, this is the season [...]

  • ThumbnailThe other night I was watching the Philadelphia Eagles scrimmage against each other, and as Michael Vick was running the offense looking good on some plays and bad on others. I began to think about his career and what should have been and what still could be. Vick doesn’t do anything that makes you say “wow!” like he used to [...]

  • ThumbnailStarring at a blank word document on your computer while you are trying to decide what you are going to write about as I am doing now or was doing until I started typing is kind of funny at times. I have about five topics in my head, two of which are a continuation of two [...]

  • David Johnson commented on the blog post Fantasy Football Breakdown – Quarterback   4 weeks ago · View

Good and Interesting blog. I did my QB list a few weeks ago. I completely diasagree with your take on Schaub. He led all quarterbacks in every passing statistic with out Owen Daniels playing most of the year. So just becasue Andre Johnson is the only big name their, or that you really know, you [...]

  • Thumbnail On Friday night I was going over this whole Albert Haynesworth situation/soap opera that’s being played out in Washington, and as I thinking about how crazy this whole Haynesworth saga has been and how overrated Albert is. I started to think about other players in the NFL who are overrated. There aren’t many in my [...]

  • Brody Miller, I am glad that you read my stuff and you like it. I am not taking any offense to your comments, its all good. Recieving harsh or stern comments sometimes is part of blogging. Plus I know I push buttons sometimes. I do realize that the Ohio State comment was a little harsh [...]

  • ThumbnailAs I was up late the other night playing NCAA Football 11 on PS3, I realized that there are not any college football teams who can legitimately challenge Alabama this year, and this upcoming college football season could end up being pretty lame/uneventful. In years past you have had a handful of legitimate championship contenders and or challengers that [...]
