About

Sports Blog Net is currently built on the principal of making all blogs in the network as successful as possible.  Both in terms of money and traffic.  We want sports fans to Discover, Read, Write, and Build.

Our goals are to get all the small blogs out to the masses, give new bloggers the ability to get the exposure they are looking for, and give sports fans a destination that they want to visit everyday.

Joe, Co-Founder, CEO

Joe has been passionate about sports since he was very young.  He played baseball until his athletic ability caught up with him in junior college.  He has worked in minor league baseball and now works for a Sports Technology company.  Joe has been involved in blogging for over 3 years and currently blogs at Sportstechnow.com.

Rich Spott, Co-Founder, CTO

Rich has been following all kinds of sports since he was very young and has a fascination with computers and the internet that causes him to constantly refresh his browser to see if any new information arises about his favorite sports teams or fantasy players. This information addiction came together with sports and blogging. Rich also trades stocks and designs websites in his spare time.

Brandon Schrey, Director, Business Development

Brandon has been envolved with sports blogs now for over five years. His passion for sports and creative writing has helped sportsblognet.com sucessfully market itself and stand out in an era of high internet competition. He has worked with youth basketball camps, for an NBA team, and a major sports ticket website.

Kenny Colston, Manager of Blogs

As a little boy, I flocked to the local sports section in order to get my daily dose of the sports world. The wide-eye look at the pictures and headlines turned into reading front to back of the section and looking into what the local beat writer wrote about me and my high school football team when I played. Now, I decided to do what I’ve always admired, become a sportswriter.

When I’m not doing sports journalism as a career, I’m doing sports blogs for fun. I helped found UK Wildcat Country, a Kentucky sports blog and I was a founding contributor to Union Sports Blog, both here on Sports Blog Net. I hope you enjoy your time here, check out all our of top-notch blogs and let me know if I can be of any help.
