The 2010 Atlantic 10 Basketball Tournament will start on March 9th on college campuses and continue at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey March 12th through March 14th, 2010. The winner of the 2010 A 10 conference tournament will receive the conference bid to the 2010 NCAA Basketball tournament and be awarded the overall conference championship. Unlike past years, the conference is expected to have as many as 5 additional teams beyond the conference champion be competitive for at-large bids to the 2010 NCAA tournament. The seeding of the A 10 tournament is determined by the regular season final standings. The last and next to last place teams do not qualify to play in the tournament. The Temple Owls have the past two post-season A 10 tournaments.
