The Bruins were able to score in bunches Wednesday night, helping them put up six goals against both Ondrej Pavelec and Johan Hedberg, topping the Thrashers 6-4 at TD Garden. The win extends the B’s current win streak over Atlanta to eight games, dating back to the ‘07-’08 season.

Marc Savard got the scoring going midway through the first period, going top-shelf over Ondrej Pavelec on the power play. Less than a minute later, Daniel Paille took a sweet Mark Recchi feed and put it past Pavelec for a quick 2-0 advantage. The B’s weren’t done though, as 20 seconds later Vladimir Sobotka tipped the puck past Pavelec, chasing the Atlanta goalie before the first intermission.
