A new way to get a buzz going

Yeah I am sure that headline grabbed a few people for the wrong reasons but before you click away and get buzzed the old fashioned way, check out what the real buzz is about.

Today Yahoo launched their answer to Digg and it is called Yahoo Buzz.

Now I kind of feel bad for a friend of mine who had a blog called Buzz My Blog and one called Buzz Pirates. Will this hurt or help him? I am hoping for the latter of course. Too bad he is not getting cut.

Anyways back to the point here.

As I said, today Yahoo opened up new the Buzz tool to allow links to any site. Until now only about 400 people were allowed to post stuff.

By allowing anyone and everyone to post to Buzz, Yahoo could possibly gain better content but at the same time create openings for gaming the system like so many do with Digg.
